Bujumbura Burundi Best Western Hotel
There is so much to see in Bujumbura Burundi vacation that a day trip may not be enough. Nature Reserve Rusizi, located in the capital Bujumura, and although this is not my first nature hike in Burunda, it is definitely the first of its kind in the country.
The Rurubu River, also known as RuvubU or "Ruvuvu," is one of the largest rivers in the world and the most important source of water for the entire region. There are extensive valleys that surround many lakes and are rich in birdlife, but Giheta is the most popular destination for birdwatchers and bird lovers alike. Rwanda and Burundi are known to be managed by indigenous mountain forests that once transformed entire regions into indigenous montane forests.
Kibira is the second largest national park in Burundi and covers an area dominated by rainforest with a total area of 2.5 million square kilometres.
From Manyovu, minibuses will take you to Kibira, while Boda-Bodas will take you to the Burundian border post and provide road transport services. From there, you are in the heart of Zanzibar, one of Africa's largest cities (compared to the one that remains) with a population of about 1.5 million. You can stay there for a few days, although it has literally nothing to do with Zantzabar.
The hotel also has a number of restaurants serving local and international cuisine, as well as a fully equipped conference room. You also have a restaurant that serves freshly prepared meals such as coffee and tea and has excellent views of Zanzibar from the top floor.
Crocodiles, leopards and snakes can be fed in the Vivant museum, but not all visitors will enjoy it. There are also accommodations that allow you to control your own safari lodge in the wild.
When you arrive in Bujumbura, your route for your tour through the information board will take you to the National Bureau of Tourism, where you will have a variety of options where you are available. Rusizi Nature Park is one of Burundi's most spectacular natural areas and is also known as the Parc National de la RusIZi. The Kibira National Park, located at the tip of the Zaire Nile, is home to more than 1.5 million hectares of preserved woodland and over 1,000 species of animals.
The northernmost point of this beautiful country is located on the border with Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania in the Kibira National Park. Technically, there is no need to cross the borders between Burunti and Rwanda or Tanzania, but the security situation in both countries means that there are many risks involved. All nationalities require a visa to visit Burkina Faso, and all nationals of Rwanda, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) require a visa before entering the country, which they can obtain by submitting an application to the embassy of their home country in their country of origin.
We had read before that you could reduce the waiting time by picking up your visa in Kigali, but our embassy in Kampala rejected our proposal. We applied to the embassy of our country of origin in Burunti, the embassy of Burkina Faso, and this time they rejected us.
If you are travelling from Tanzania to Burundi or Malawi and would like to enjoy our overland history, please read on. From there we took a collective taxi to the Burundian border and took the bus to Kabanga, Tanzania.
